The release of the new website, wwww.caloundraweddingcollective.com.au at The Oaks Oasis 6.00pm on Wednesday 11th June will showcase Caloundra as a wedding destination. This innovative website, established by the Caloundra Wedding Collective, will act as a one stop shop for couples, while highlighting the Caloundra area in a way that has never been done before.
The Caloundra Wedding Collective is made up of local wedding suppliers who have provided their extensive knowledge of all that Caloundra has to offer as a premier wedding destination. Detailed descriptions and inside information will tremendously increase Caloundra’s online presence in this growth industry.

Cloud Nine Weddings has won the national title of Australian Independent Wedding Planner of the year for 2010. This is the second year running that Cloud Nine has beaten the best in the Australian bridal industry to win the prestigious award.
This highly sort after award saw this locally based Sunshine Coast company pitted against some the biggest names in the country. The ABIA or Australian Bridal Industry Awards hold the “Designer of Dreams Awards” annually. These awards are for wedding suppliers who have consistently proven their ability to generate excellence in product, service, value and staff over a 4 year period.
Cloud Nine Weddings have been voted No.1 Wedding Planner in Australia, two years consecutively.

YOUNG CINDERELLA’S ARE ABLE TO GO TO THE BALL AFTER ALL THANKS TO THE KINDNESS OF AN UNEXPECTED GODMOTHER
The students at the Sunshine Coast Tafe know exactly how Cinderella felt when she was unable to go to the ball. The hard working young designers had their annual opportunity to parade their entries in the Calico Bridal Gown completion dashed when a large exhibition in Brisbane was cancelled.
The dresses are the culmination of many months of diligent effort and deserved to be displayed. The talented students were required to use Calico, a very inexpensive fabric, to produce a bridal gown fit for a princess. And just like Cinderella, they also had a fairy godmother to get them to the ball.
The Sunshine Coast Bridal Showcase, to be held at Novotel Twin Waters on Sunday June 16th, has come to their rescue. As part of the Expo’s usual fashion parade, the Calico Bridal gowns will be featured, providing experience for the students and an exciting addition for guests to enjoy. A perfect fit, just like the perfect pair of shoes.
